That’s why the NOMOBO team was trusted to deliver on everything - from pre-production planning through to music, graphics, live streaming and lightning-fast turnarounds of more than 40 pre-recorded sessions - to create two memorable days of world-class digital broadcasts.
NOMOBO was tasked with creating the event’s visual and audio look and feel. Working from the foundations outlined in HashiCorp’s brand book, our graphics team developed the full visual identity from scratch.
At the same time, our creative team worked closely with an external musician to design custom-made audio effects for every element of the broadcast - including 10-second bumpers, sound effects and a 150-second soundtrack for the entire event.
In the three weeks before the two-day broadcast, we distributed 42 smartphone production kits (SPKs) and five camera production kits (CPKs) to speakers around the world.
The CPKs enabled three keynote speakers (including HashiCorp founders Armon Dadgar and Mitchell Hashimoto) to capture their talks in full broadcast quality. We arranged for a personal home visit to help with the set-up of each CPK and then shot each talk on a shallow depth of field that allowed for the addition of striking visual elements in each recording.
The SPKs, which included lav mics and earpieces, enabled us to remotely pre-record all other event speakers and edit en-masse in the 21 days preceding the event.
NOMOBO’s internal team was supported by a select group of experienced professionals. In total, almost 30 skilled technicians helped to bring the event to life.
And with three channels all broadcasting for three hours each for two consecutive days, we immortalized HashiConf Europe for tens of thousands of viewers around the world.
MCs in the UK and Netherlands broadcast live each day to introduce the action, cue the keynotes and deliver links between each speaker.
Post-event, every talk was made available through video-on-demand. Client feedback was outstanding and audience figures were exceptionally strong.
