During the height of COVID-19 lockdowns, international superstar DJ David Guetta brought positivity and joy through his pioneering, global fundraising initiative United at Home.
Across a five-show tour, he made a true mark in music history. NOMOBO was proud to create the livestream for each set, managing the entire project with a combination of in-person and remote productions across three different continents.

Creative Concept Centered Around Fan Engagement
Guetta delivered outstanding performances in five iconic venues: Miami, the Rockefeller Centre in New York, the Louvre in Paris, the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi.
Each of these famous landmarks was chosen because of their ability to resonate with, and excite, a hugely diverse set of fans.
And what better way of engaging those fans than to include them in the livestream?
Our creative concept included a channel for his fans to appear on the actual feed being streamed by millions of people worldwide.
This truly unique and high-impact approach to streaming required precise planning in each location. Camera set-ups and technical teams had to be adapted to suit each particular venue and the legislative framework in which they operate.
The most well-known United at Home production came in Dubai, so let’s take a closer look at what went down!
Enhancing Brands in Partnership with Dubai Tourism
After first traveling along America’s east coast and then landing in Paris, it was time to head to the helipad of Dubai’s Burj Al Arab Hotel. Built 210 meters above Jumeirah Beach, it provided a truly spectacular backdrop for the fourth installment of Guetta’s ground-breaking tour.
Seeing an opportunity to enhance the city’s image and branding, Dubai Tourism also offered its support in a truly collaborative approach.
A well-considered camera plot was supported by the use of Arri Amira Live cameras and Blackcam Robotic camera support systems, guaranteeing an amazing depth of field and dynamic range across all footage.
By using technology and cinematic tools to their full potential, including drones flying directly through spectacular firework displays, we also elevated the performance to a cinematic, unique quality.
From planning, logistics and late-night technical rehearsals through to creative direction, post-production, color grading and multi platform streaming, NOMOBO was trusted to deliver on the world’s biggest stages – successfully raising more than 2,000,000 USD alongside a legendary DJ.
